    Power Efficiency

    Hi Moodz,

pulse spectral density equalisation over some bandwidth is good. But how about power efficiency? This seems looking not very nice yet (according to the coil currents).

How did you realise the TX transmitter?

Hi Aziz .... well I am following a line of research with reduced inductance on the TX coil. The power consumption I am not too worried about ... just need to get it working then make it better. I am interested in the magnetic coupling to the ground + targets. My feeling is that 100 - 300 uH is far too high an inductance for efficient magnetic coupling. The range should be more like 1 - 30 uH. Less turns on coil but greater Tx currents. Some coils only have a single loop.

The general form of the TX is below.

This uses about 800 ma of current at 12 volts for coil currents varying from 10 amps to 450 amps depending on varying all the params.
