I think I have all of Kenworthy's books, but they are packed away. My guess is, that Spanish treasure traps make for good stories and good reading, but probably have little basis in reality. I know of at least a few reports of treasure traps being the result of people digging in naturally unstable areas where the existence of treasure is incredibly unlikely in the first place. Pit caves in, must have been a trap. Oak Island money pit is the most famous of these fiascoes.

The firsts traps are the signs of warning. This can make you move back!

                Hi,
I've never understud how that's possible with today's technology do not recover such "things" from the pit of Oak Island!

I mean... the water trap... ok... easy: why don't they put steel cilinders into the pit , of the pit diameter... then insulate the base with e.g. portland-cement stuff... then pump out all the dang water from the pit and see what's inside ??? That's the real mistery I think...

I don't undertstand that... unless they know there's nothing valuable in that pit.

Today's technology (but also 10-20 years ago) let them use such kind of, maybe, aggressive approach but solve the water issues there.... but they don't go one step ahead on that.

Maybe is more simple e.g. selling books I think... cause there's probably no treasure in that pit and they already knows.

                Kind regards,
                Max
