And I bet you thought the title was a joke!

Would certainly be useful for metal detecting in secret.
How about this for a new Geotech project?

Looks good, with a vibrating device.
Only for PI i guess , or deformation of the sandals will ruin nulling

I see that they claim a detection range of 2 feet ... or perhaps that was supposed to be a joke!

For an old minefield... maybe yes... seems good!

Not that I would like to play tap-dance in such a place... but... maybe some people could find it useful e.g. in Cambodia and similar (full of unexploded mines) places...

jokes apart... there is a real problem and would be not such bad idea if some humanitarian agency will make some hundred-thousands of them in pairs... for people living in such places.

Will save a number of legs and lives there.

PS: supposed you hide the MD this way... then walk etc... but when it vibrates ???

How to dig the hole and locate the target in hidden way ???

Don't tell me: there's a drilling tool under the sandal that will make the hole and get the target that will be enclosed in the sandal sole!
A'la James Bond... is maybe Q the inventor then ?

        Kind regards,
        Max

            Hi,
            no... it's not mine!

Theory is that... maybe... MI6 stole already every Esteban's secrets about remote sensing...

Of course... if so...billions pounds involved for testing of that new LRL breakthrough in remote sensing.

Don't you think that they use this devices already to locate clandestines packed in incoming trains from Eurotunnel/France ???

(Of course... just a joke, don't wanna people here think that someone could be really interested in such IR crap)

            Kind regards,
            Max

I've just seen an article that says the sandals use "beat frequency oscillation technology" ... so it appears to be only a BFO.
