I need to go DEEP and looking for feedback. I have a Whites MXT and Whites TDI and curious if anyone knows what type of depth that a 18" or 25" round coil would give in real world conditions considering the ground I am hunting is highly mineralized for either or both of these detectors.
Or would I be much better off buying something like the Discovery TF-900 (2 box) type of detector. I am searching for DEEP placer concentrations and lode gold deposits in Colorado.
How deep you ask? 3 feet, 4 feet, 5 feet even 6 feet is not out of the question.
How will I dig that deep? Core drill with a 4 foot attachment would give me almost 5 foot of depth range.
