guaj, ivconic the expert in build the formidable tgsl machine cant look difference in one md basic ib and other complex pi, whit mosfet 555, big cap, very much heating of ivconic neuronas effect for extremely tgsl attention,
jajaja is joke ivconic before not see inside cs880
this cs880,? is major what fhiser 1225-x ?? i own one, is very efficient

ivconic the faulths in your tgsl is due to jfet implementations, this jfet or cmos is very troubleshing noise, not stable, major use standar complements ics base 2n2222 earlier

Yes that is very funny. Me, the "great", couldnt recognize ordinary VLF! Instead - i mixed it with PI !!!? Shamefull!
                I admit...
There is always first time for everything!

I am not sure that i understand your remarks on TGSL and Jfets???
Can you, please, try to explain that more detailed?
                Regards!

Apberg described this one CS550, nice small detector 9v battery (original schematic), i tested it and it works! Wounded up some coil, put it all together thinking something should oscillate, and it did! But I think it needs original 1.9mH coil (center tap). I think it can make a nice project, but I dono how to make original coil. All of the pots are working with this one.

I have found this thread while searching for something else Is the CS880 a non-motion detector? And how is it with the discrimination? It seems like an interesting machine.

It is "Cover locator" and it acts pretty similar as some PI detector, although it is no PI but IB.
It was a while ago, right now i can't remember if it was able to discriminate or not?

                          I was sure it is PI detector with 100% uPC inside! H E C K !!!

                          Look what i found inside!!!!

                          How is possiblle? How?
It is working excellent. It has discrimination. It has soft touch commands....2 knobs; On and Off. Also has 2 led diodes; signal strenght and battery state!?? How is possiblle to do all the jobs with such small and simple pcb!??? Cscope! Simply as that!
                          Yet...look what is inside!!!!

                          Aha!
Looking at my post from the past i see that it has certain discrimination!
                          It was back in 2009.
Until than some 50-80 other brands and models crossed through my home...and my brain!
That's why i really have troubles to recall all the details on each model i had for some limited time to use and for testings...
