I had got the Bosh DMF 10 Zoom and now i m looking forward to modified it to be a pinpointer.
I open the unit and i found that the detector coil inside is a rounded one about 2.2 cms in dameter. No ferrites inside.
At first i was thinking to remove the coil, but this is to big to fit on a small pvc tube. So another idea was to bypass the original coil and to make a new one with same inductance and resistance.
About this any ideas or experiencies with this or similar divices?
Regards
