I had told you to isolate the windings' shields in touching places. you refused. if you refuse all time all people's suggestions then why you ask again and again and again on same matter?
thanks kt315 and Davor
i want ask you ,about DD coil.
i finish it but can not adjust to 0volt in ne5534-6 ,for IDX?why?(minimum 1.3 volts)
and i make DP2 better or 2Box?
regards
Delta Pules is a well proven design more info here. There are plenty of impressive videos on YouTube. It is deigned for deep large objects. not the sort of thing you find around here so decided to build the Baracuda instead as it's designed for coin size and would get more use. (just need get round to building)

hi my friend
i make barracuda and again bad depth(i really have problem in coil mading)
so see http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showt...egend-1/page40
please say me more about ne5534-6 for barracuda
can i see your waves in ne5534-6 and RX coil for IDX
regards
I am using the detector at the moment. But will be stripping it down next month (will post some waves then) to add a low battery warning and build a new DD. Do not like my original. works fine in dry even sand almost deeper than you can dig easy. However on some ground the coil becomes unstable(do not know why?) but my 8" concentric works fine if not as deep also I made the coil too heavy.
Do not feel too bad 35cm is still a lot more than an original Classic I. I was shocked when comparing the two even though they are basically the same PCB.
On your Baracuda I have not read all the threads yet but noticed this
did you match the fets resistors and capacitors there is 5cm difference alone with matched FETs
quote "Yes.. there is real improvement ! I think that between a bad and good selection, from those 2 fets, is more then 5 cm differences..(if not more)"ApBerg

ok
i think just bc517 is more better MPS and BFsnot more different to gether.
i will buy bc517 and again test it,if you looking last page on Ne5534-6 for wilson can DIVERT this wave to my last post wave.
and about DD coil i sure all things ok but not 0volt in pin6.(i will try to make new coils)
I was watching BBC Lost Cities of the Ancients (The Vanished Capital of the Pharaoh) towards the end the did a scan of a large area. They call the equipment an electron scan. Look like it was cobbled together with bits of wood. The resulting pictures were of a very high resolution. Still got 7 day left to view on the BBC Iplayer. The bit with the scanner is towards the end.
Anyone recognize it. Look like some sort of Magnetometer to me

Watch from 40 minutes onwards.
Here are a few screen captures from the program ->
what schematic do you mean asking 2-box? whites tm-808? discovery tf900? SEVZIRFO's bomb raider? on tf900 schematic is absent, only some pcb pics, it is similar to early tm800.
on whites and on SEVZIRFO is schs.

What counts to detect stuff that is deeper than 2 meters is a special search method!
You can't walk slowly over the site and sweep your coil only 1 meter from left to right with motion-circuit detectors.
And for nonmotion a high stability is needed, including the coil ground distance.
Thats the reason why archeologists with computer-gradiometers walk row after row at the same pace, speed and sensor-ground distance
over huge areas to get afterwards a somehow more or less good interpretable "picture" of underground wall etc. structures.
If they would sweep their stuff just fast from left to right staying at one spot they would detect nothing !!!
i think all guru here and more EXPERIENCE for the detectors.
and i want say one guru ELUCIDATE to me about the real depth for the detectors.
i need good detector that can search on near 7meter and have discrimination or just find the gold or Nonferrous ,
i called by my gurus friend and all say me 2Box is good but not have disc.
so any guru have a best for all or...
