    hi guys newbie here after some advise.

    i have bought a second hand fisher 1265x machine and im not sure if the sensitivity knob dosn't work properly. it dosn't seam to matter were are what you do with the sensitivity knob pulled in or out there is no change in the depth pickup are loss at all. 5 inches max air test on a victoria penny dosn't seam right to me. any help is well appreciated.

      i have the manual for the 1266x wich i asume works in the same way. 5 inches is poor for a quite large coin. like i say the sensitivity knob dosn't seam to do a thing no increase or decrease i was hoping someone would enlightening me on this.

        Does the discrimation control have any control on it?

          not sure what you mean.
          was hoping someone could tell me weater you are able to see the diferance with the sensitivity settings wilst air testing or not.
          at the moment i can't seam to get the sensitivity knob to make any differance in depth.

            Turn the Discrimanation all the way down and see if it helps.

                Check Coil connector for contacts and or corrosion.

                Coil wire kinked inany way?

                Does the battery check good?

                  well i have give up with the machine and can only asume it is faulty so i have sent it back to the seller.
