  • control box shielding?

I'm designing a detector using the Hammerhead I circuit. What I'm wondering is wether I should be looking to provide shielding for the PCB, either a metal enclosure, or plastic with a conductive nickel spray inside.
Just how sensitive are analog (or for that matter, digital) circuits working in the 1-3 Khz range to outside interference, anything from power lines to a military radar (Beale AFB, about 5 miles away)?

The loop is way more sensitive, but the PCB can still pick up RF, especially around mil. bases. I think White's spray-shields the SMPI box for that reason.
