Use Coaxial instead of audio cable?

Hello, I'm new to the forum, and metal detecting in general. I've always wanted one, but have never had the money for one. I ran across

and it seemed to say "BUILD ME". That is what I decided to "try" to do. I got all of the parts together, except for the shielded single core audio cable it asks for. The closest thing I can find to "single core" and "shielded" is coaxial cable. I also have some Cat5 cable, it's sort of single core and shielded if you choose one wire inside and ignore the others twisted around inside.

Would either of those work? Thanks for any replies.

So there are two separate cables between the coils and the box. Usually with vlf/induction balance machines a single wire is used so I don´t see why wouldn´t it work with this also.

The idea must be to separate rx and tx to interfere so I would try shielded twisted pair cable with coaxial outer lead (STP HF). Best of that kind easily available to me would be Lexcom Home network cable. It has 4 pairs shielded per pair plus coaxial mesh around everything.
