Slipper MD

Hi everybody ,

Since I will spend my holiday at a sandy beach, I want to make a simple MD just for fun. But I would like to build it into my slipper(s)!! So the coil and battery size are very limited.
Which is the preferable design (type os MD) and coil config?

I like this! But instead wire I prefer using blouthooth better. The indicator can be head set or even pda.
As I see there is usb connector on the slipper. Is there active part inside slipper using usb standard or just the coil(s) inside?
Is it PI or IB design? Or some things else?

It seems to me people are not really happy with this toy.
Anyway I'm not seeking for big found, I hope some fun during construction and in the beach.
I will build something for sure, but I still do not know which design or just idea will be the best.

Good idea WM6!
I was thinking too to utilize the fact that we has two leg.
One slipper can bee Tx and the other can be Rx. Beneficial than the coil separation changing during the walk thus it has different depht penetration. But how can we solve the primary field compensation? Not just the coil distance changing but cooplanar position too.

It have to be PI with alternate switch on one of both antenas. Raise and mowing slipper (antenna) is ever switched on and at the same time stay slipper (antenna) is ever switced off and vice versa.

What abot this Slipper & Excavating Claw combination? Nice for sand digging?

I thing the snowshoe and the dinofoot are too striking. I will use simple plastic (hard foam) slipper.
Since I still do not get any advance what kind of design would be preferable, I will make PI for one leg and IB for the other.
On progres I will show some picture later.
