      • SPDT switch with one side momentary (ON-OFF-MOM) can be used

        I give a related clipping from HAMMERHEAD Pulse induction metal detector, the article of Carl-NC. page 6.

        To easily switch between motion mode and zero-motion mode, the PCB includes pads for a panel-mounted switch. The mode switch should either be a momentary-contact pushbutton switch located for easy thumb access, or a momentary toggle switch for index finger control. If a CMOS opamp is used for IC8, then a SPDT switch with one side momentary (ON-OFF-MOM) can be used, similar to the mode trigger used on White’s brand detectors.

          • Hello all,

            My King Cobra works fine now, my problems were due to a few deffect components . For All Metal Mode function I removed the capacitors C7 and C8. I use the King Cobra with Tesoro searchcoil 9'' X 8''
            The caracteristics of the Tesoro 9'x 8' concentric coil:

            RX = 6.54mH ( 24.9 Ohms )
            TX = 6.03mH ( 26.1 Ohms ).

            Many thanks again KT315 and Eduardo

            • Hello kt315

              Do you have an idea to reduse the sound speaker on King Cobra? Thanks by advance

              • Hi Legaucho, do you mean to decrease the sound level? You can increase R77 value or/and can also to desolder R76 out, in my opinion this way has to work.

                all the best
