    • I downloaded those files and among them i saw Eduardo's video.
      Wow, splendid work Eduardo!
      Nice, neat and clean!
      Now i would like to ask you something to do;
can you take mineral, stone from your video and put coin or ring on the top of it and than show detection and Cobra's behavior?
      Can you?
I asked this before somewhere on this thread but i got no answer nor response.
Hopefully i am not asking too much!?
      Thanks in advance!
      Cheers!

I understand what you mean. I have watched your video carefully and my answer was obtained in a previous post. The XP GMPower has 3 shades, iron first tone, second tone for foil and third tone for coins. Unlike GMP, the KING COBRA has 2 tones. With the potentiometer placed at least discrimination, the iron is not detected at all. The foil is detected in the first ring and the coins are detected by the second ring. If we put a coin under a hot rock, the coin is detected in the first tone, like a foil. If we place a foil under the hot rock, the metal detector does not emit any sound. So there is no miracle. This is happening with all VLF detectors. Now I have no coil available to make another video. The coil with which I made the video, was a TGSL and not available. In the future I'll build one for the King Kobra. Greetings.

          I see.
          That's not bad at all.
Better to produce lower audio than not to produce it at all... like some other detectors that i know.
Instead GMKC i made Panthera which behavior is similar to what i see on your video.
But i will make GMKC too soon, i like it.
          Cheers!

do you need PDFs files on TGSL coil making? I can repeat them here, in this thread. it is not a problem for me...

                              • Coil Parameters

KT315, I believe that your Lobo coil information is backwards. What you wrote does agree with the original data that was posted (link below), but that data has since been revised.

                                Coil Parameters

There has been a good bit of controversy concerning the Lobo, so if I'm wrong, please somebody come across with some first hand information. Lots of people seem to have a clone, but nobody has the real thing (or else they're not speaking up).
