the schematic is similar to any Tesoro, TGSL, TGS, you have a chance to check all declarations done before in another threads. nothing new. new is only a BOARD. it is a learning platform for all VLF like Hammerhead is the platform for PI.

          Hi KT315.

Can you help me about your favorite Gold Mountain King Cobra? These days this machine was start to be my obsession. Unfortunately my Proteus can't see some of PCB portions at the picture of the King Cobra you allready post on a geotech. Please if you have some more pictures of this grate machine's PCB, send to me. Talking about CS5mx I decide to give up of this project due to the complicated calibration procedure. Anyway, thanks for your help about this. Once more, please help about King Cobra, I realy like this MD. This is your fault you know.. I have PCb layout file in Sprint Layout of Royal Sabre got from Vladimir Demchenko but I think that's a King Cobra is much more interesting machine and that I will can gain it like I was gained TGSL to detect a 1 euro coin at 40cm. One more question about King Cobra's schematic.. at the schematic drawn by W.L. there is 5 (five) Electrolitics but at the picture of the PCB I see 7 electrolitics!?!? I think maybe there are more disagreement between schematic and original PCB layout. Please help. I'll pay you a beer when we see ... Indeed, if you need any help, anytime but I can help you in any matter I'll do it gladly.

          Thank you.

          King regards,

          Darko

You will get small expirience in SMD soldering too. It will be useful for you if you are a beginner (small bonus). There are a places at bottom side for SMD resistors and capacitors, I added especially them as a filtering-blocking in power supply lines to ICs.

                P-CAD Component Locations
                RefDes Layer
                --------------- ---------------
                C43 Bottom
                C55 Bottom
                C56 Bottom
                C57 Bottom
                C58 Bottom
                C59 Bottom
                C60 Bottom

                R79 Bottom 18-24 Ohm
                R80 Bottom 18-24 Ohm

R81 absent, do not set it

A type of the capacitors is tantal 7343 or 7343H, value is 47 or 100 uF (the more the better), 10 or 16 V. A type of the resistors is 0805, 1206 or/and 1210.
You can find the caps in any oldie apparatus - motherboards, videocards, HDD boards, etc. Ie that you are able to find around - and set these.

                              WM6,
do you mean original or mine? I did full copy from original, but in the process I speedy found out the layout is not optimal as I did consider it. thought there is not a road aback anyway
trying to find 7660 in my garbage... then will follow...
