I have two King Cobra with pcb coming from KT 315, the both are working perfectly except a additional parasite noise sound in 'Metal Mode' Please look in your side, there is for sure a mistake.

I believe you , that's right. i asked questions, to promote my info.
You right, my smt caps are 33uf-25v and nonpolar caps are handmade, may they are making problems.

Not. MPSA13 is Si-N- Darlington. you can replace by MPSA12 MPSA14 BC517 BC617 BC875 BSR50...52 MPSA25...29.

hi sdowman, I did wait accu holders bought in local shop. I sold original PCB with them. I did gather with my board and testing will be continue. a coil that was with the detector was also opened but I see nothing new and interesting inside. thanks.
