Russian MD ИМБ

Can anyone tell me anything about this two-coil Russian MD.

I translated the page into English but it told me little ... would it be a PI MD?

It is an induction detector but coil configuration is unusual.
Weight: almost 19kg
It also doesn't have any discrimination I think.

what is in your opinion un-induction detector? IMB is not PI. it uses 'half-sinusoidal wave' TX way.

Yes, it is not a PI detector. I first decided it's a kind of TR but in TR detectors coils are arranged in a different way. Where did you get the information for TX wave?

I read russian forums. I had put IMB TX part schematic in the Geotech, do not want repeat it again. click SEARCH and... search it.
