I'm just wondering if there is an electronics site on the net that
covers detecting and geophys devices. A place where you can ask questions and get answers. I've known of this forum few a few years and I'm now starting to think that all this place caters only for LRL scammers and folks that take and don't contribute.

This site has the best technical coverage you will find. Yes, there are those who take and don't contribute; that's fine, when people are learning sometimes they have nothing to contribute, but that may change over time. Yes, I allow open discussion on LRL devices, because I think it's a valid topic despite its poor history. Perhaps someone will discover something useful in those discussions, whether it's a legitimate LRL method, or the knowledge to avoid a scam.

agree with you. LRL matter must die despite on tolerate position of our too democratic politics. why we are bombing Belgrad in time a scammer spreads his illness mind fantazy? we must leave Belgrad out in its pacific living and bomb the LRL scammers with all our military power. no another position would be. much honest people see Geotech is not right place and get out!

all LRL scammer matter must be strongly prohibitived and taboo.

          This is not my opinion.
Prohibition has never been a solution for any problem, lead to revolt and is not a sign of intelligence and evolution.

then what USA Army does in Afghanistan? Afghanistan by the way is ANOTHER continent, not a state of CONUS. sign of real evoliution is to leave the afghani people in state they want and need. they are not needed in any presence of alien military.

No you are wrong, this is a good Forum with very good advice. BUT yes you are right, there are a few threads on this Forum on LRL scam units.

This is a letter on another thread that you might be interested in:

I understand what you are saying. The best way is try it out for yourself-ourself is always the best, yes this is true. Thanks for the offer to come and try it out then report what I see. I would meet with you if I was close to you. But I am a long way off from you and I am not in the USA. Go ahead and try it out since you alread have it and let us know. But I can not 99%, but can instead 100% assure you that expensive electronic machines will not pick up gold and silver on the distant horizon, horizontally 25, 100, 1000 (meters)yards out.

People claim they have done it you said. I never said that finding gold and silver in the distant horizon or under the hands-feet was not possible, but it is the operator doing it, that can be done with about $5 or so worth of homemade equipment that does it, not a high priced scam instrument itself doing it that rips off people to put it honestly and bluntly. What does it is the operator him or herself doing it from the gift they have from God. Do you think all the old-time miners in all the gold rushes had electronic equipment. Yes they were first on the site-virgin ground, and yes they were the same people as us, but they had a sense in finding gold activated by being down and out, down to their last straw, when this sense works the best.

If you buy either an expensive electronic or non-electronic dowsing machine(loaded with false resistors and the like), you can also make one at home for a fraction of the cost. Amazingly my dad does find things with 'bent wires' that cost under $5. (Either bent metal wires, or wood at 90 degree shaped and glued at the ends being smaller round wooden dowels can be put directly in the hands, or inside bigger sized 2x-pieces of about 6" long & about 1" diameter round wooden or metal dowels with the middle drilled out a little bigger than the wire or smaller wood dowel to be inserted inside them.) Some people use no metal but instead an ALL wood dowser like a forked shaped willow. This is all of no use to you if you do not have the gift with this skill. Not everyone has this gift and MOST people cannot even do it. It is the persons sense working through the instument, and NOT only a long range instrument doing it for you like a metal detector. Rather it's the person instead. As these high priced long range instruments are totally worthless in themselves and taking buyers for a financial rip-off ride.

Somebody wrote this and is very true in most cases:

Be careful when you purchase any treasure hunting unit.
It's best to talk to people that have had success with the unit you are interested in.
              ONLY TO THE OWNERS.
Not just one person, at lease 5.

As the technology is a fraud, poor history does not really cut it. Those involved in the LRL are committing fraud, ripping people off and are therefore criminals. How can a criminal activity be a valid topic?

This forum is being degraded by allowing it to flourish.

the forum main page must clearly include a writing at top that LRL devices are fraud matter and done by criminals. this scam activity in the LRL subject ruines all sense of forum development. I have not see much time people with exellent level skill in electronics of Australia, USA, England, Germany, France, Italy etc. at the forum. WHY they ignore us?
                    the answer has been known.

I new here, so please forgive me if I'm out of line (though I was a member many many years ago).

My main interest is in HV electronics - anything over 20KV or so. There is a hugely active and very technical forum for this at 4hv.org. It's full of professional engineers, scientists, mathematicians, artists & even amateurs...

Over there we have admins and forum rules that explicitly prohibit pseudo-science - people are free to discuss anti-gravity machines and perpetual motion, but not there - for a first offence the posts are removed and you are warned - a repeat, and you're banned.

                      See http://4hv.org/page.php?9 (Site Rules)

Specifically, in Part II, I: "Free energy, electrogravitics, and all other types of pseudoscience are not allowed on any part of this site, nor are links to sites that deal primarily with these subjects. If this is what you seek, you can google many, many other sites and forums that will accept such topics. Discussion of such topics will only be allowed if someone has undeniable, 100% solid proof that this isn't pseudoscience. If this is the case, we'd also like to hear about when and where you will be accepting your Nobel Prize."

As a result the forum flourishes and is is amazingly free of rubbish & trolls. It's nothing to do with "freedom of speech" etc., it's just that you can have a platform for that stuff, but not there, thank you very much.

Just a thought. I know its difficult to put the genie back in the bottle, but it really is down to the site admins & owners and the will to enforce it...

Be careful they have high voltage devices based on Tesla coil, you may be burned.
