Here is what I meant a while back.
To understand what the problem is , see the original scheme .
By going through the various stages , the signal is reversed in cases that enter the Operational Amplifier , does the investor pin, marked as negative ( -) .
If you enter from the non-inverting pin , which is marked as positive " +" , the signal is not inverted.
Suppose that the signal at the output of 4053, is a positive value , to reach the VCO , through the various stages , its vaolor is negative at the base of transistor BC337 .
Now see the simplified scheme, mollax and G. Z.
The positive signal coming out of 4053, Investing passes two stages , and comes with positive ( +) , contrary to the original scheme comes as negative ( -) .
In the latter case , positive signal might not work because the signal would result to earth through D31 .
This are my conclusions , I did not finish the Pulse Star project.
