  • Waterproof Connectors

Does anyone recognize the manufacturer of the waterproof connectors that are sold at the following link?

Sure, that's a 12mm style connector (so-called "M12") made by Molex (Brad Harrison division). I'm looking at using these on a new version of the SMPI so we can have interchangeable loops. Available in 3,4,5, and 8 pin versions.

Tesoro uses a 16mm "M16" connector on their water machines. They're too big for our case. There is also an 8mm M8 connector which is really small.

      Thanks Carl!

I've been looking for some good quality waterproof connectors to use, and those look nice. The price is quite steep, though.

I've purchased some Switchcraft and JAE connectors in the past. Even though they are IP68 rated, they didn't look up to the task of handling the rough surf that I sometimes detect in.

It's interesting that you should mention the SMPI. Guess what (slightly modified) detector I'm planning to use them on first. ;-)
