      Hi!

      I made it with ApBerg's version (long PCB) and BLACK version both
      works very well.
      For coil you can try 0.5mm wire and inductance arround 140uH
      Resistance max. value = 2R.
      Believe me... it's a simple but very good detector which I use usually
      on beach.

          O.K. Thanks......
          Going to take a stab at building this one, did anyone have any pcb's made up for this one, before i dig the old light box out of the loft. Is ferric chloride still the choice for etching boards? For the people who made there own board, which layout did you use(i'd do with a square type board, not long type) oh not surface mount as i have 200 watt soldering iron

            ALL schematics of metal detectors you see and will find in webnet have been taken ONLY FROM GEOTECH
