Does anyone know the exact frequency of the mid 70ies Garrett Coin Hunter TR Classic?
(It should be the units with knobs on the side and coils with an elipse atop.)
Reason is that I got an extra coil when I bought a second hand detector some years ago, but it was a different type and did not work on that unit (GroundHog) . Found it know back while cellar cleaning and wondered if it were possible to build an IB/TR circuitry fitted to the coil.
Circuitries do exist a lot here on the forum. So I guess that changing parametres of one to match a special frequency may be possible, at least will be a challenge for the coming cold season.
