  • Surf Pi boards available now - longboard

The boards for the surf PI underwater design or longboard or Surf PI "ApB" as I have called it have arrived !!!

With kind permission of ApBerg I used my contact in the far east to produce a small run of these boards.
They have arrived and have been made with a rather sexy black solder mask and are thru-hole plated

If any one would like one pm me for payment details

    1 board $12 inc postage
    2 boards $20 inc postage

I may have enough spare parts to offer a few complete kits (except the coil) if anyone is interested, pm for details

It is black PCB (black vitroplast), but very professional work.
Thank you silverdog. I received it yesterday.

I do not mean PCB colour... if I do photo at night in an room I have two lamps for this. if you put a thing under near them you would get fine photo. secondhand digital camera 2-4 Mpxs also is not expensive now and gives in macro good result. for great photo I am waiting THE sun day. photoconditions on the sunlight is HIGHTLY PERFECT.
you must learn and teach those simplest rules... IMO...

                            Hi Surfdog,

Got the kit this morning and am VERY pleased with it so started assembly this evening. What I noticed in your photo above, to get P3 to sit with the brass adjuster in the same position as yours the legs have to be bent in the opposite direction to how it would sit naturally with relation to the way the board is drilled and printed. is this right?

Your observation about the brass adjuster is correct, however do not bend you pins, different suppliers/types of components maybe orientated differently - I believe I sent you a pot has offset legs and the one in the photo has inline legs, the brass adjuster is in a different position
