With kind permission of ApBerg I used my contact in the far east to produce a small run of these boards.
They have arrived and have been made with a rather sexy black solder mask and are thru-hole plated
If any one would like one pm me for payment details
1 board $12 inc postage
2 boards $20 inc postage
I may have enough spare parts to offer a few complete kits (except the coil) if anyone is interested, pm for details

Hello Everybody!
I'm just now fished my Surf PI project. But it's not working. At first this is my first project and soldering. So I'm not a big electrican.A few question:
- What is the TP1 and Tp2?
- How can I attached the coil correctly?
- What is the ground? /GND/
- What is the delay?
I attached a few photos. Probably the soldering is the problem or I don't know.
Thanks for the helping!

Hello Detectorman,
Check the positions from the IC's think you need some new one's...?
Look at the marks on the IC's ,the no. 1 pins have a mark dot and must be in the good position on the board !
If inserted wrong there is a great chance that they are not working good anymore...
Cut the wire's at the solder side short and take some alcohol .. for cleaning the solder side from the board...
Success with you first project.

A few ic's were in the wrong directions. /beginner's fault./ I repositioned that and cut the wire's at the solder side short and after cleaned the solder side as you mentioned.
Still not working. I think there are more problem with my job.

When you cut the links did you resolder them on the topside ?
If you have a voltmeter can you post put the black lead on the battery negative and post readings by placing the red lead on the following points;
78L05 -both outer legs
7660 pins 5 and 8
TP1
Check component values and placing - it looks like the offset pot is wrong so something else maybe, I have attached a completed working board, picture is not great but it should helpAttached Files
