  • Professional PCB's - Which Detector Next ? Vote Now !

I have a few hammerhead Rev C thru-hole Pcb's left and now have stock of Surf Pi longboards

Which Detector would members like to see professional Pcb's of next ?

I'm tempted to make a TGSL, but I'm open to suggestions

I've listed a few options but I'm sure there are many more

And of course if you happened to have provided the winning pcb layout, and give your permission, a few pro pcb's will be coming you way !

Possible Pcb's : Tesoro TGSL, Tesoro Silver Sabre, Tesoro Bandido, Chance, ClonePi, DeltaPulse, Miner, Sascho Md, XL500, PI-111

    regards

    Great offer from you again.

From my point of view "CHANCE", nothing else. My order for "Chance" is 3 PCB (at least) in advance.

    Thank you and best regards

Yes, I also like 3 boards from the CHANCE PI.

The boards from Silverdog are from high quality....and cheap....

      Best regards.

Would you be so kind to post a closeup picture of the boards?

Eldorado? Delta Pulse? Possibly in a size which suit standard enclosures, so not too wide.

Thanks for the CHANCE file. I have been following Andy's excellent work over the years.

Silverdog offers "professional" PCB's. ApBerg says they are of high quality, but I have never seen any, nor seen any specs. silkscreen? bare copper? gold flashed? There are so many variations, it would be nice to see a sample picture.

I think it is a great idea to offer good PCB's on the forum. Many will enjoy soldering their own boards. There is nothing better than "hands-on experience" to learn.

Hi I too would be interested in the Chance PCBs but I think his new version with two processors may be the one to go for but I don't know how long this will be maybe some one should ask him as he is not interested in any commercial development himself but if boards were available I am sure their would be many interested.
                    Regards, Ian.

I send him mail couple of weeks ago but no answer yet.
So we are staying with completed "Chance" solution as shown in post #7 (Chance.pdf).

                        Hello Tinkerer,

Look at the pdf file, the black colour makes it a little hard to see .. but it give's an impression ...

I think the boards are very nice and cheap.
From the HH2 I had a board form Carl, also very nice...

Thanks for those actions we can have very complicated boards for our hobby

Good to have friends here.... !

                          Tinkerer

The boards are very nice, solder mask, silkscreen and thru-hole plated
I don't always get a choice of mask colour, the latest surf pi are matt black instead of gloss black - I can request blue, red, green or black, immersion tin or gold plating - it just costs a bit more

The problem with Chance is no .LAY or gerber files - I would have to recreate the board from scratch - unless someone can get Andy_F to provide them ?
What about the keypad for Chance, would they be required or would members make their own ?

TGSL has many boards in .LAY format , I was looking at Ivconic's tgsl1265last.lay, can anyone recommend ?

                            Chance V2 - SMD

I found this but have very little info on it - can anyone provide a translation or further info ?

Thanks for the images. The boards look very nice and really professional. Amazingly cheap for the quality.

I feel tempted to have some made for the TINKERERS_XXD detector.
