  • Tesoro Tejon ,broken trigger

    My second hand Tejon (no warranty) have a trigger switch broken , I send three e-mail to Tesoro technical support ,in 4 days no reply yet.
    I looking for original Switch , no standard toggle switch ,because is different (I haven't find a long lever and someone very sensitive like original)

    Sombody have any idea?

    hi ik5pwr, can you put out photos of the switch?

    I have the idea. I see a post of Mrand he gave the catalog numbers.

      If Tesoro won't respond try White's. If the switch is a SPDT on-off-momentary then White's uses the same thing in the MXT, DFX, etc.

        I'd think you could find the switch in a catalog/site like Element14/Newark or Allied.
        Also you could try and find a switch of the same brand and use the guts to repair yours.

          Save time and energy. Buy the White's like Carl suggested. Tesoro will not sell any parts to owners. Even dealers cannot obtain replacement parts. Tesoro policy . If you call, they will tell you to go buy a requires you to send your detector in for repair. This is one area where Tesoro sucks.
          So don't expect an email reply from Tesoro. If you call them, they will tell you to send it in or go to some electronics store and buy .....you might get lucky if they give you the part number. Too bad when you go buy the part, no one has them in stock, special order only. Go for the White's toggle.

          Thank goodness for White's, Garrett and Fisher who will sell you parts.
