Any thoughts on using the TC4451to drive the mono-coil of a pi md?
It's supposed to be able to produce 13 peak amps,
the coil on my md is 3 ohms (around 4 amps at 12V)
but I suppose the peak current would be alot more than that,
I'm just looking at options because I'm driving a larger mosfet direct from
an attiny 45 and it's not switching the mosfet hard enough, It's to large and
has to much gate capacatance,
I was looking at using the driver to switch the mosfet as would be normal but just wondering if
I could pull a shortcut.
Also, Any recommendations on a good op-amp? Currently using the lm318
Thanks!
Jon
