Yeah, another surfmaster question. Actually questions.
I haven't had the time to try these things - just wonder if someone else has:
1) isolate the TX coil source voltage from the remainder of the circuitry. Use a bench supply and local cap buffering to give low source impedance variable voltage sourcing.
What affect on RX does this have?
2) With the standard circuit, what is happening when the battery voltage drops? I wonder about that ICL7660 part and its limited regulation. What if we make the RX single supply so it can be more stable?
3) Modify circuit to have adjustable pulse rate.
