I always did say these very active member like ivconic etc - you are not getting the money for dowsing rod and you only spread the fake here in forum. these people are only very aggresively replied.

Thanks for posting the youtube link. I must have missed that Newsnight program when it was broadcast. Although we already know about this fake detector on Geotech, the video really does leave you speechless and wondering about human stupidity.

I was being alone before this moment. the forum is really the nest of remote sensing scam. this is why American people do not wish to be active in this forum, it is main cause. you will not meet Bob Sickler here, you will not meet George Payne here, you will not meet another gurus of electronics here!

I have been reading this forum for many years and Ivconic is probably one of the biggest skeptics of the dowsing LRL types but he is quite fair in his appraisals.

You are obviously misinformed or you have an agenda against him. I suggest you check out your facts. Ivconic tries his best to be scientific about various claims and so far the dowsing type LRLs have proven totally ineffective.

It is not a question, as the previous poster suggests, that the swivelling aerial devices have proved ineffective so far.

They are and alsways will be ineffective. From a scientific point of view, apart from the fact that the sellers of this scam have regularly change their minds about the working prnciples (see Dodgy James McCormick of ATSC, who managed to bribe Iraqi nterior Ministry officials to buy $85 million USD of the ADE 651 -see flip flopping from NQR Nuclear Quadropole Resonance, to Thermo-redux to etc etc, there is no credible working principle. Perhaps other than the ideomotor dowsing effect (Yes folks, dowsing does not and never can work!)

So, scientifically, there was never any issue as to whether these stupid toys could or could not work. There was never an argument to be had on that basis. The only issue was how quickly we could get this stupid business shut down, and the crininals behind it convicted.

That is what the campaign has been about from the beginning. It has taken a lot longer than it should have doe for a variety of reasons. However, one clear issue is the ridiculous relativism that we see everywhere. A fair hearing for all, despite the lunacy of some.

Anyhow, whatever the argument there is here between forum members, please do not forget the objective i.e. spread the word and help, in a small way, to add a much needed dose of rationality, to a sadly still very irrational World!

Once again I am including the BBC Newsnight link so it does not get submerged by infighting on the board. Perhaps you can set up a separate thread on the merits or otherwise of your posters? Please do not derail the main issue here!!
