Nimh Charger schematics?

Hi, I'm finishing my Surfmaster PI and need help about building a NiMh charger since I'm planning to finish the project as a waterproof unit. I'm planning to put 8 AA (1.2v) batteries inside the PVC tube and use a waterproof connector to recharge it but I need a 12v charger (with overcharge protection).

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi All,

Problem solved, I've found a Lipo charger and battery pack, better and cheaper solution than NiMh (Battery pack + charger=14$).

Tha battery pack is small enought to fit my "project tube" PVC 33mm inside diameter.

Even a CHEAP rechargeable battery can be a waste of money if you don't have a suitable charger for it. (DOH)

And good chargers can be hard to come by. (DOH)
