I see only one way here - OP1 Pin 8 to 12v from Step-Up inverter and Pin 4 to ground wire, OP1 work in common mode with positive 12+ rail.

These videos look interesting. I finally something to browse through this weekend. Id like to contribute to this thread but unfortunately my phone got waterlogged and died along with all the stuff in it. I just love looking at metal detector videos when Im not outside looking for buried coins. I also found this website that has a lot of information about metal detectors.Comment
