  • Hi, best regards from México, I finished Delta Pulse, But I have a problem

Hello my friends, greetings from Mexico. I want to inform them that he does a month, I decided elaborating the Sniffer XR 71 ... work Was Me Very Expensive why I do not know nothing of electronics, I am apprentice. Some of you of, with help, I have gone learning little by little, I attach them the imagery of process that I followed to construct a difficult proyect ... as he is the Delta Pulse ...

The pcb 's I constructed it with a Acetate-toner Laser, I warmed it up with the plate to 150 C, during a minute, I let it reposing and after I diped it in water cold, achieving that he stick on the copper plate, errorless ( after 50 attempts ) ...

I found all of the pieces, and I began ... are the imagery, the design of the box in aluminum ... I Did Not Find plastic case or PVC ... I Constructed It ... But I have some misgivings that I will leave the downstairs image ...

The fact is that I do not know where they get connected ... I DID NOT FIND the 200K

They would be able to help somebody say me where they go connected ... The Horn has two poles, contact comes from 3 ... How do I connect it?... The switch has 3, but I do not know like connecting them ...

In the last photo, I am constructing a search 1 x's coil 1 meter ... with cable of net of 12 tips ... it winds it I want to armor it with an aluminum picture as shows up ... Y I draw it to be able to explain better ...

He would be useful for me the would armoring with an exit downwards, not affect its performance?

    Apology for my bad English

    Thanks for his help

Can't you post a (readable) copy of the schematic that you used? Or at the very least, post a hyperlink address where somebody can get a download.

I believe there are more than one version of XR71 and it would be good to be "on the same page" before attempting to carry on any discussion.

I did not ask for a PCB layout and parts placement diagram. They might be useful later, but:

What would be really useful now is a SCHEMATIC diagram. (What I post here is not the correct one, but just an example of a schematic drawing).

Did you have a schematic to follow when you built your project that you are asking for help with?

              Whaaa??
Your language translation is difficult to understand but hopefully we can get past that.

What did you mean earlier when you said "you did not find the 200k". Exactly which 200k do you refer to? Did you not find it on the PCB or did you not find it at the store? Have you made a substitution? Your statement was a bit vague, so please clarify. Explain. Make it easy for me.

Can you post a photograph of the horn that you have trouble connecting? Also a a picture of the switch would be good to see.

Your first set of pics had poor resolution so if you could make these next ones a with better resolution, that would make it easier to see what you have.

It looks like your speaker connection is made so that you can hard-wire either a speaker or a headphone. If you use a stereo headphone you need a stereo jack.

If you only want a speaker, connect it to pins 3 and 2. If you want a headphone, connect it to 3 and 1, or maybe I got them backwards but I think that's right. You could try it both ways.

                or,

You could use a switched headphone jack to allow switching between either a headphone or a speaker.

The switched jack has a normal-closed switch to route audio to the speaker when no headphone plug is inserted. When you insert the headphone plug the switch is forced open and audio is routed through the plug to the headphone.

If you use a stereo headphone and also a speaker, then you would need a stereo jack with two switches, one for each channel. It is slightly more complication but hopefully you could figure that out.

I think I answered your question about the speaker.

Now that we have a diagram to view, would you point to where your other areas of concern are? Point to the 200k you couldn't find. Was that switch J3 that you had a question about?

                    thanks for you help, porkluvr

                    Thanks for answers...

Now, I doubt be more than enough how connecting the components that I indicate ...

Hair settings like CON2 are in the circuit ( Belseme ); J3 ( Switch, but of 3 terminals?)

The connectors P8, P7 and P6 the are jumpers ...¿What do I connect in that place?

I changed 200 k's potentiometer of 3 paws for one of 100K ...¿will He affect performance?
                    Thanks to help oneself ...

I send a Indian licorice from Mexico to him

Thank you Mollax. A picture is worth 1000 words.

                        1) For 200k pot you could use 500k pot plus a 330k fixed resistor in parallel, or keep the 100k and accept smaller frequency adjustment range.

                        2) Con2 is where your power input goes You will probably want to have a power switch.

                        3) J3 is for "Tune-Autotune" switch.

If you want a meter you connect it as Mollax shows.

If you have not already done so, you should read through the Deltapulse threads. There are lots of possible problems you may encounter before you will have a good machine.

I did what you say to me, but did not work…
The Delta Beats does not catch, something is failing…
                          I am annoying and desperate…
Thanks for all your aid… I am going away to dedicate to another thing because as electronics apprentice I do not work.
I will follow of journalist and professor of basic school
My first project, and the last one.
                          Thanks and a strong hug
