What is the sweep speed of the oscilloscope?

How are you presenting the target to the coils?

"the thinking of reverse for vlf"... hmm..one of my best detector had a cancellation coil whereby the operator electronically nulled the rcvr..worked well..and after cancellation still held the phase info.
