Ivconic does not post in the Geotech forums anymore due to some previous problems with accusations and name calling. Please respect this, and do not try to provoke him with unwarranted comments. Try to focus on technical details and leave personal differences outside of the forums.

In the past several months Geotech has become a very civilised place to discuss technical matters without old rivalries and political differences getting in the way. Only occasionally do we have to remind ourselves to stay focussed. This is (of course) how it should be.

I dont know what went on there and to be honest it doesnt concern me in the least, but what i will say is we are the losers by him leaving, hes a very clever man and a talented engineer, he belongs here, and will be missed .
I didnt know him that well due to only joining here a couple of months ago, so can only speak as I find like I always do.
Been in the electrical trade all my life bread into me from a early age I do know a good engineer when I see one, and can also pick out the wanabes within seconds

Yes, this is ancient history now. There was a bad session where certain members upset Ivconic, and he decided to no longer post in the Geotech forums. However, he does still occasionally read other members' posts, and you may have noticed some surreptitious input (received via PM or email) that I have posted on Ivconics's behalf.

Anyway, let's put this behind us and move on ...
