  • Dr. Bickel's Gold Isotope machine?

If you'll thumb back to July 1990 of the THC, you will see where Dr. Bickel was a brilliant colleague of Dr. Werner Von Braun of German and U.S. missile fame. In later years Dr. Bickel designed an Isotope machine that would find the element in the earth by this means.

Larry Williams said that Dr. Bickel wasn't fond of Treasure Hunters and he would only deal with mining companies. At that time he was about 96 years old.

At that time, Dr. Bickels machine was pricy with a price tag of $10,000 used if you could find one. Today that is nothing in the cost of Treasure Hunting equipment. I never learned anything about his machine by the THC actually. Larry Willaims just briefly spoke of a different method of locating gold.

My letters to Dr. Bickel were not answered. What I would like to know is this: Is or was Dr. Bickels machine effective in the field. Would it really find treasure caches as well as ores? Is there a machine avaliable today that works on the same principles that his machine operated on? Where are they sold and what is the cost of suck a machine?

Richard: I believe Steve White has such a machine that he talked about some time ago on TTHN. Steve is a nice guy and I am sure he would answer any questions you have.

      Hi Richard

I have a Bickle machine. I was having alot of trouble with my partner for awhile and couldn't get access to it, but thats all settled now. I talked to Dr. Bickle a couple of months ago. He is 93, at least thats what he told me. He is repairing the machine right now. It seems my partner shipped it to someone to use, without my permission and when he thought I was coming to get it, had it shipped back and it was severly damaged in shipping. They are very expensive, he does not build them anymore, only repairs them. He does not like treasure hunters

very much. He told me that theoretically it should pick up buried treasure after its been in the ground for 60 to 100 years. I have not used it for this. It also picks up other elements, oil and water. According to him there still is not a machine built today that can do what his does. As far as what they are worth, its whatever the seller wants. These machines are known the world over, especially in oil hunting. My intentions for using it, was to fly over rugged areas in mexico and then find the best areas and go in on foot with my scope for an exact location. I know you and others don't want to here it , but the scope is almost 100% accurate on veins. Sometimes its wrong on the amounts, but there is always a vein there, always. As soon as the machine is repaired, I was planning on taking it to mexico and trying it on some treasure sites, as well as mining.

        Veins

Steve: Nice to hear from you again. Don't you know it is not enough to say you find gold veins with an Electroscope by Thomas every time. You must prove it to the unbelievers. You must be prepared to answer things like: Did you take videos of your finding veins. Who ran the camera? Was it someone who sold electroscopes? Was the camera film changed? Are sure that each and every time you found a gold vein it wasn't just a random occurance? Prove that it wasn't just luck. Perhaps Thomas is out in front on the plane throwing gold nuggets on the ground so you will think you are really finding them. I am just joking Steve. I have learned from many independent sources that Steve White is an honest gentleman. If Steve says it is so, it is so.

Steve, ...what sort of readout does the Bickle machine utilize? How does it indicate to the operator, the presence of treasure?
