  • @BernteOne,,,Thank you for the 'New' Sprint layout tuition! This Forum is great that it has helpful people like yourself,,,I'm working on a few projects that I know will be of use for other members of Geotech in the future,,,It will be a nice feeling when I know that I have finally contributed something of my own as a thank you to the Forum for all the knowledge I have learnt on Geotech. I will start to re-draw the Foxy MD later tonight and I'll post it for you to check at your convenience. Thanks again for your time and patience, Regards, Marty.

    • @BernteOne,,,,Can you check this drawing for me please? Have I placed the Capacitors at the correct polarity? If the drawing has no errors I will try to make the board smaller. Thanks, Regards, Marty.

        • Thanks. I need to know if I have oriented the capacitors the correct way because it doesnt show the polarity on the bmp image. Thanks, Marty

          • the sprint layout design you do seems ok
cant find the problem you mean

electrolytic caps with +/- are right direction
non electrolytic are equal in direction

            • Thanks BernteOne,,I didn't know if I placed the electrolytics correctly or not. Is this size pcb ok or shall I make it smaller? Thanks, Marty

              • Check the grounds using the test probe. You have a couple of tracks with zero clearance.
                The FET is also shorted.

                    What's new in version 3.7:
                    * small code optimization was performed to increase the stability of the metal detector
+ beep indication for errors ERR 01 and ERR 02 added

                        • Errors that may occur during zeroing:

ERR 01 - the saturation section was not found in the signal:
                          • coil break
                          • no pulse generation
                          • the signal during zeroing is so strong that the saturation region is shifted beyond the registration window

                          ERR 02:
                          • the signal during zeroing is strong enough so that the saturation region lasts until the end of the registration window

                              Hello, Rodelio!
                              Thanks!!!
This LCD was used, for example, in Nokia 5110. But now getting this LCD from of the phone is troublesome. These screens are offered on ebay and Aliexpress.
