Im running it on UNO and Nano. Just got Galileo gen2 board. Any luck porting the code to Galileo? I'm having problems with timers. Any help porting it to Galileo would be great!!!!
Hey captainart,
I haven't had a chance to play yet, It will be some time before I can. Not home for a while yet.
The Gen2 is supposed to be pin out and arduino ready!
I haven't even got to power mine up yet.
You should be able to just plug in your shield and load the Uno 3 code. (They Say)
Make sure you Use the proper voltage jumper on the Gen2 for your shield though.
I didnt take my Gen2 out of the box yet too but I tried compiling with Gen2 board selected. Sketch doesnt want to compile. Says something about Deconstruct and Highlighting Timer1 and all the stuff above. That was the IB one. I havent tried PI yet. PI is much simpler and should work.
i dont want to open a new tread about it so i post it here
I have tryed to rebuild the PI Detector from dc42 https://github.com/dc42/arduino but i dont get it to work... the code stop at line 121.
coils shold be arround 7.8kHz with 1.2 uF Cap. I have measured the coils with a selfbuild LC meter tolerance arround +/- 5% and double average sampling (5k samples) 328-340uH each.
maybe anyone got a idea what is going wrong?
Edit: i have checked the breadboard double and trible and is everthing fine so far.
Arduino metal detector schematic diagram, PCB Lay up please, test results are also interested in air or drawings that are proven coil. Thank you very much ! I may also look forward to my email address.
