Digital Logic Probe of any use??

I picked up a brand new MICRONTA 22-302 Digital logic Probe at a garage sale for $2.00.
Couldn't pass it up at that price.
Wondering if I will have any use for it working with metal detectors such as the Surfmaster PI or Tesoro Giolden Sabre etc. projects?
