97386 is the zip code so not going to help much. On the left lug there should be a number stamped normal very faint. Can get worn off. Maybe if you post a picture someone on here could identify it. Buzzing in PP altered with threshold pot and quite in Disc mode is correct. Just test a working MD and get nearly 4 volts AC across the TX connectors

the coil ohms are tx 6.6 and rx 39
i cannot tell the exact modal of the coil as i got it from a market its 11 inch with wights sticker on it
threshold has a noticeable change in pp mode.

6.6 ohms is too much for the IDX-PRO TX coil. You will get very low voltage of the TX. The correct value is 1.6 ohms.

Hard to say,, try all of the usual stuff Do you have plus and minus 4 volts..

Do u have a scope or access to one can u measure thTx coil volts should be about 15v ac

My original coil "Classic I SL" measures 3.88 ohms from the end of the cable that includes the resistance of the cable. There may be some variations in coils.

Highly recommend silverdogs PCB good quality and 100% working. Could have made my own PCB but it's really not worth the effort. Just follow the values printed on the board to make an excellent metal detector. Everything work perfect.

My transmit voltage is 6.37 dc with no coil what would cause this??
