    • What fitting did you use for the length adjustment?

            • These speakers have a mylar cone and will take water splash.

Conventional paper cones turn to mush.

              • Was looking at the occasional chatter / motorboating I get on the IDX.

If you spice it, the output phase is greater than -180degrees whilst there is still lots of gain available.

So it appears clear that stability issues should be a problem at around 8Hz.

I looked at a similar topology that could be wire modded on an IDX board, this topology has about 30 degrees phase margin so would be stable and not chatter.

cant see how to upload a zipped folder?

If you spice the Filter amps after the mixers/synch detectors , the signals at the output of the filter amps have output phases greater than -180degrees whilst there is still lots of gain available.

                  • hi every body
i test idx in ground it have good ground balance in bad ground it is stable
and i found that change c10 and c8 to 3.3 uf electrolyte capacitor slow down the device but increase detection distance

                    • For making the idx and tgsl with double coil D I think the TGSL a clearer sound than the idx. idx to the slow response and the sound is less clear, however I find indoor tests seemed net but in real sound is moin net my TGSL

                      • idx need bypass filters across supply tracks and near lf347

i think audio stage need modify to hear weak signal caused b deep target

                        • so it should be possible to use the audio portion of tgsl and adapt to idx of the floor that can output the audio sound when a clear deep targets.

                          • On the contrary, IDX sound is just right, and TGSL might need some tweaking into a more linear response. Both rigs may benefit from a more elaborate compression stage in GB channel.

                            • Roman action with the IDX

                              A weeks coins/brooches.
The result of some very enjoyable detecting/amatuer archaeology on a previouly unknown roman settlement in uk. The likes of which I wont see again as most sites are stripped. All of these and other finds are gps'd and will be going to the local FLO for record with the land owners grace.
