what is problem on idx when turn on just get long beep sound then the transistor MPSA13 is going hot
when turn it on disc mod it working like normal when put on PP mod it will be long beep and MPSA 13 is hot

MPSA13 should be cold something is wrong
You are not the first to get a hot MPSA13 last time turn out to be a solder bridge causing a short.
i just check my battery out put is 11V
when i turn idx on
i put multimeter on battery + and - the voltage drop to 7v then it slowly up to 10.8v the beep is gone when voltage get to 10.8v.
i have remove all ic sockets but some time i still get long beep when i turn it on, and not stop
is there a IDX PRO DD coil making manual like for TGSL ?
I constructed few TGSL coils on coil jig, so I can use same jig for IDX PRO ?
I would like to use 0,30 or 0,45 or 1 mm wire for coils.
How can I calculate No. of turns for DD coil ?
Schematics and PCB are not changed very much from first 30 pages ? Don't need VDI yet.
I read this thread ... 109 pages ... but still reading searching for good solution for shielding
TX wire from 0.70mm 35 turns - 0.587 mH - 1 uF cap
RX wire from 0.15mm 270 turns - 35.6 mH - 33 nF cap
The goal is low resistance TX and high resistance RX so changing the
wire diameter will affect results somewhat but as long as you end up
with the proper inductance it will work (after a fashion) depth may be
lessened... To find out how many turns to make with a different diameter
you could try a calculator but I've never found one accurate enough for
my coils. I'd add 10% and check the value while on the winder (if possible).

If you use the TGSL shape with the specs on page one of this thread the phase works out perfect
Tried loads of shielding methods so far best to date is a simple flat card covered in carbon above and below the coil seems that any creasing in the shield ruins it.

I will need to aquire new wire then.
Shielding for concentric coil is simpler ... what can be done for DD ?
I have small beeps on ends of swing - maybe shield and can be fact that I did not use resin to cover it.

My coils are DD
Circle of card with carbon on them under and over both the TX and RX
Must of tried over ten times with a space blanket with two sets of windings can not get it to work properly I must be doing something stupid card works fine nice and simple just rubbed a carbon battery on it even a small circle under the coil had more success than I had with the blanket.
