      Okay, no problem!
      Maybe some day in the future, when the conditions will be better.

          • I have, I was UK dealer until Evergreen paid £30,000 to take it way. Thing is I was going to let it go anyhow. The GM is a TERRIBLE machine! Odd VCO, poor iron disc, hard to ground balance, and VERY twitchy and flimsy build.

            Sure it goes deep but what use is that when it falls apart or wont discriminate very well. Sorry NOT for me. I'll stick with my modified Tesoros and Whites.

            These are MY opinions, and are NOT necessarily what other who have used thee machines will find. I'm only saying what I see. I have no axe to grind with the creator of the GM machines.

              Thanks Holyuser for your understanding. I still think you did a GREAT job on the VDI thing as a whole!

                • Ok Boards have arrived for the IDX to go with the VDI units added last week

                  I must stress at this stage everything is untested by me - I will add the pcb and kits to my shop as people have been asking for these for a while
                  Please understand there may be minor problems which could include missing components, or extra components supplied

                  I am trying to pull together some documentation but as with most other projects it is a bit sketchy

                  I have put together a partslist which I will use initially and will be building a unit from it as soon as I can to verify its accuracy

                  I will be trying to supply original components i.e. Lmc6484, Bc237
                  The partslist shows some alternatives

                  Thanks again to Eduardo and Holyuser for their great work

                        • Thanks for the first couple of orders guys, give me a couple of days to get them out

                          I started mine last night and found the partslist needs work !!
                          I made the partslist from the schematic, not realising there were so many changes
                          I'll hopefully correct it tonight and can then put some kits together

                          This is just the IDX pro Kits, VDI kits will go out as normal

                              I picked up a Blue Max Shooter DD coil which I was hoping to use on this project
                              It arrived yesterday and initial measurements give the following

                              TX=0.54mH
                              RX=15.4mH

                              Should this be ok for the IDX Pro ?
                              Anyone have pin outs, I'm not sure about the shield and how best to connect to the pcb, I rather not cut the connector so will look to source a male 5 pin plug that will fit

                              • A bit of help required

                                Connected up the Whites shooter coil over the weekend to the IDX, no joy

                                I seem to have a nice TX wave but nothing on RX, as there is no cap on the pcb is it possible there is no cap in this coil ?

                                Eduardo could you explain what you set VR3 to ?
                                Maybe show more details of the coil you used and how you connected it ?

                                Connection points for the VDI would be useful too, although not diffcult to work out a picture is always good, particularly for amateurs like me
