The Label Pulse Star III is on it, because the Detector shaft is from a manufactor which builds PI Detectors. But you can buy ONLY the Detector shafts from this dealer

Fine work! My IDX work with an old 3900-er coil. I observed the disturbance. At me mainly the rusty iron indicates. Tested one with 15" heads too. It works well, but very heavy. Ropcsika prepared a good coil for me. I wait for it.

Is it normal that the Idx reach a 16mm diameter coin at about 30cm in air, but Vdi reach her only at 12/13cm - it is not even a half range of detector ?

My VDI does not reach far, about 25 cm in air. I changed the op amp several times and also improve outcomes. Instead the detector achieves much more than the VDI.

I have the same problem with my VDI. It detects a coin only in 15 cm deepth. Is the MCP602 the better solution for this VDI ?
And what is the best resistor value for the RT2 on Board Poti ? what is the meaning of this poti ?

IMHO, the issue comes from the software instead of the front OPAMP.
The sampling routine should damp the signal a bit too much. But only Holyuser can answer ...

I changed U3 to lmc6484 to lf347n. It so sensible. I changed the r25 too a trimmer. So I can adjust for more sensibility. A hungarian "20 forint" http://www.hamispenzek.hu/hamis_fempenzek_forint/20%20Forint%201994%20hamis%20hamisitvany.jpg comes from 40-45 cm. :-) Waohhhhh! It is fantastic... But! The of-key sign frequenter. I set up down the sensibility.
