In the present example, would be like that:

1. we must firstly calculate 1024x12,6=12902,4 and 650x5=3250 ;
2. in the next step we find 12902,4/3250=3,97 (approximately) ;
3. next, we can find denominator as 3,97-1=2,97
4. finaly we divide 20 by 2,97 and voila! 20/2,97=6,734 (approximately)



This question is not to me, because that C1 is not part of VDI, but...
I think, that something about 1nF would be good.
In my opinion, this capacitor is used to reduce the influence of cable.

IDX PRO/VDI

I went to some garage sales today cause the weather was nice, and so I tossed my IDX Pro/VDI in the car for on the way back. I was driving on a road alongside a small river and spotted a park. I pulled in and turned on the unit and Wow, i was getting a whole lot of targets that were reading in the 30's, and 40's. So I dug up a couple pennies, and a dime pretty quickly, but no big deal. Then I went further down the trail, and I got a real loud target sound, and a readout of 70 on the VDI. I frantically dug the hole about 7" and I pulled up a silver ring .925. I know this is pale in comparison to the stuff guys in Europe and the UK get but believe me it made all the work worthwhile!

Thanks Jerry! but Holyuser deserves big time credit for the VDI. Its not 100% accurate but using it you can quickly eliminate most of the junk. It still gets fooled by bottlecaps, but like you said it might be because its a DD coil. Ivconic already got it to work on the IGSL, and I think I might put one on my TSGL. The battery drain on the VDI is not as bad as I thought, as I had it running for 8 hours straight and when I turned it off it was still working. I am using 10 nickel metal hydride batteries. Another thing is I think Iv'e been MD,ing at a lot of parks that are all fished out. I got to find better locations, maybe knocking on doors for permission on private land.

I do not know who is Vladimir Lilova, and I do not need your advice on what to do, because I am happy to live in my country and have got good health, good family, good occupation, good hobby and lots of friends.

I am sorry orbit, I don't usually get involved in these pi$$ing contests but you call yourself as " GURU" what does that mean? Holyuser put the VDI hex on the site and members
didn't like actung minen, ok He changed lt. He then uploaded geotech hex. I loaded it on my board, went out and found a silver ring. The hexfile works great. It does'nt cost you anything.What is your problem?
