Hi, I`m building concentric 240/120mm diameter coil right now, and I cant null the coil. I have noticed some dependence: When I have 2 beeps for color metal for example copper coin I could null the coil with proper phase shift and voltage. When I swap rx wires to get 1 beep the amplitude of Rx and phase shift changed like this:http://w866.wrzuta.pl/obraz/3hrxNU89srx/phase, What I do wrong?

There is a little residual coupling between Rx and Tx a bit out of phase that in one case works opposite than the other. In both cases it can be balanced out, but not at the same angle.

There was mi schematic with CD 4077 two tone discriminator.Work better than id-pro.

i have build the Lugatek VDI kit for the idx pro. It works fine, but there is a counter integrated. He counts backward from 500 to 0. What happens at 0 ?
Does anyone have a code without this counter?

The idx is a very good detector, but i believe the disc could be a little bit better !! when i search with my idx on field there a many faulty noises from the DISC when he detects iron! so is it possible to improve the disc ?

I have some questions for you:

1. Why does your IDX-PRO have a label on the handle that says "Pulse Star III"?

2. Where did you buy the nice control box that is under the handle?

3. Where did you buy the triangular section telescopic stem?

The Label Pulse Star III is on it, because the Detector shaft is from a manufactor which builds PI Detectors. But you can buy ONLY the Detector shafts from this dealer
