              • hello, I need help.
I built two IDX and no work. PCB´s are from Silverdog. I tested the components and apparently are fine. I used the coils maxima 1500 from white's and the Spectrum XLT coil. I checked the supply voltage and correct. No sign of TX and the circuit makes sounds when my hand approached to the PCB. Both pcb have the same problem.

Can be the problem of the pcb?

                Regards

Boards are fine built one and it works brilliant. There was a batch where one of the pads caused a short. post a high res picture of both sides of your finished boards would help. Do you have oscilloscope.

                      • NO REMOVE FOIL -! only isolate, take a scotch tape and make.

                          • Hi Kt315

I built a DD and did not put a resistor in the TX shield. Would that cause my coil to have a lot of chatter. Coil works fine sometimes and very deep but then it will become unstable. Another coil works fine.

Going to build another as it is also too heavy as well.

                              • insulate the shield of each coil with an insulating material such as tape eg to avoid the two touch screens.
