No idea on the specification of the coil. Might be better asking for the specs in the coil section as the chance of anyone who has measured that coil reading it on here would be small.

If you are asking if the cable is suitable for connecting the coil to box I don't know but looks okay. You will have to try it

I have tried USB2 cables. One worked okay but felt week and the other was not stable when tapped appears that all USB2 cables are not created equal.

I now only use 4 core Van Damme microphone cable. Very flexible so unlikely to break and no false signals even when dragged through stubble or long grass.

          • There is a black conductive foam that they often use to ship I/C's in. I bet it would work very well.

Don't think anyone has published one. If you are using a Silverdog PCB its easy enough to take photo print it of and cross each component off as you order it.

Watch the size of the capacitors

I would advise you to buy the IC's from a large suppler like RS Farnell or Mouser.

Then you can study the specs from each manufacture and pick the best. Doubt there is much to be gained but each little bit adds up.

                  • hello someone could pass me the list of correct components because not identified in Table 4 diodes in the list there are more componentes d1 to d9.

                      • Hi, I just finished this project, but i have no oscilloscope, to annul coils, i wonder if there's another way or dishes there are compatible for this detector.

                        • You may use your PC-s audio input and simple oscilloscope software to tune your coil. It worked for me.

                              • Hi, I just finished my idx pro, but first I had problems with hot masa 13. I solve it by removing speaker 1w, 8ohms. But now that s ok, but maybe I made mistake by trying it without searchcoil and maybe burn something. Now I have constant sound. When I remove ne5534 nothing change. When I remove coil I have sound in normal mode, when there is coil there is sound in two tones mode. Please for help
