I have only been on one site that interference was a problem. Next to a electric railway line. Affected both coils. Been on another site were there was underground power lines. Was still detectable with the 10" but had to turn the sense down a bit.
I have tried adjusting the Rx capacitor. You can get more depth as in many YouTube videos air tests are fantastic. However it looses a lot in the ground and more unstable.
