But in any case, the vdi for idx is just working fine and it also does it with your tgsl. Both I had made with vdi, but unfortunately, you can get get a vdi number on your half target distance.
As I remember right, member CDI has given an explanation about the reason of this effect, somewhere in this topic here.
hello who can help me? ... detector works well in normal mode without the tones ... when adding tone it affects the earth and p1 does not work in the 2 tone mode ... how would it be to place 2 geb? ... someone has a scheme like connects ... is r 2.2k deleted? ... since with the 2 tones it emits sound with the earth and the ferrite is not eliminated ... sensitivity I have it well 50 cm one euro ... probe with a resistance of 30 k, 50 k I still do not solve this problem in 2 tone mode

That's the pain of this job with 2 tone's. U need to find perfect ground balance, but not for ferrite rod, only for your soil where u search. I'm balancing mine with small piece of ancient roman brick. Reducing the sensitivity can help too, also adding multiturn pot for geb.
Is it possible to use a TGSL coil with the IDX Pro.
I mean with modification.
Not tried it myself. They are very different. I doubt you will be able to get it to discriminate to Well.
I have tried a IDX on a Tesoro before building the correct coil. I didn't try modifying it. It did work but only about 50% the depth of the correct coil.
Yes i can imagine that because the inductances are so close together.
It's only because i have a super small smd layout from the idx and i want to use my tesoro coil.
Hello members of the forum! It is possibile to use idx at a frequency over 12 khz with a purchased coil from another detector without loosing the depth in air that idx will have at original frequency(6.7 khz) with original coil? Thank you!
I have an ideea. Mr. IVCONIC said that quicksilver from cz it is good, and cz have two freqencys. He said that is not reject hot rocks yery well, but if is made dd and not concentric i think it will help.
With original coil Mr.Eduardo made it work at 14-15 khz, but it was noisy. I'm interested in idx running at over 12khz without being noisy.Over 12khz for low conductivity materials.
