want to make metal d with greatest depths

hi everybody

i want to make metal detector can detect iron (size about 1m*1m) on depth 2 or 3 meter (greatest depths)
plzzz can someone help

You probably either need to build two-box detector, or else PI detector with VERY large coil, large enough that you need to have it mounted on wheels.

You can use SEARCH button and do some research on "Two-Box" and "Deltapulse" (also "XR71" which is almost the same as Deltapulse).

Do these guys give you hard time? Let me tell you why. Your same question has been asked many times. So much so that it gets annoying.

the loop system is more important than the circuit diagram. For greatest depths, you need an almost orthogonal coil configuration. It is more easy for a novice to buy an old metal detector and to modify its loop system.

Here are minimal dimensions of coil configuration for detecting a 2 meter deep barrel:
Diameter of TX loop 470mm.
Diameter of RX loop 470mm.
Distance between loops (stem length) 2200mm.

i hope it is nothing dangerous you search if you search such big objects here in germany in such depth it can´t be good

first you should know if the barrel was properly painted and what kind of soil the site has. Do you know how strong the wall of the barrel is and is it just cheap iron or steel?

Otherwise some sheets of rust could be all that is remaining and you could have a hard time to detect these.

THE barrel from iron and painted but i think has about 25 year under soil

the soil on barrel is soil of farming

now i will try to make Miner4 metal detector because on the barrel a mine

Does somebody sell kit of parts or at least sell the programmed IC? If not M.T. will have big trouble if he does not have equipment to load firmware!
