AD8532, not so easy to find in local shops.
I was searching the net to find closest substitutions.
    Various MAX's etc..etc..
    Also tough to obtain.
Wandering if there is some closer opamp that can be easily obtained?

I think I may have found the reason they are difficult to find, they have been discontinued, see the .pdf, which gives lead free equivalents, probably in SMD.
If you need the original version you need to find those companies that specialize in components that are not produced anymore....

      I hope this helps.

      regards

Only the non-ROHS version was discontinued.

iv, what feature of the 8532 did you need? High current drive?

You seemed to suggest the AD8532 was discontinued, but only the non-RoHS package was. I was just clarifying.

                ROHS Compliancy for this Chip

I was suggesting that the version he was looking for was discontinued and may be the reason he was having problems.

I attached the notice for that reason. In that it was clearly detailed what was discontinued, what is still available..

It was also clearly detailed in that document that replacements would in a different package..... one that is ROHS compliant (with regard to certain poisons for example).

I did not see a reason to repeat the details in the attachment again, once should be enough for anyone, don't you agree?...

                What I wrote was:-

What I think happened was that I don't think that you really understood what I wrote (speed reading), nor did you read the attachment before posting.....that would explain everything.

Been there and done it myself, its easily done!!

                Have a great day.

If you click here, there is a supplier in Croatia that has ROHS compatible and the non ROHS compatible versions for sale:-

                    http://www.analog.com/en/audiovideo-...inventory.html

                    I hope that helps.
